WARNING Servicing of engine cooling system should only be performed on a cool engine. NEVER remove  clamps  or  hoses  when  engine  Is  hot.    Pressurized  steam,  hot  water,  or  coolant will cause serious burns. a. REMOVAL 1. Remove screw (8) and retaining strap (7) from engine oil filler neck (16). 2. Remove screw (9), lockwasher (10), clamp (11), and retaining strap (7) from two engine oil cooler tubes (5 and 6).  Discard lockwasher. 3. Loosen two clamps (3) and remove engine oil cooler tube (6) from two hoses (4). 4. Loosen two clamps (2) and remove two hoses (4) from engine oil cooler (15) and water pump (1). 5. Loosen two clamps (12) and remove engine oil cooler tube (5) from two hoses (14). 6. Loosen two clamps (13) and remove two hoses (14) from engine oil cooler (15) and water pump (1). b. INSTALLATION 1. Position two hoses (14) on engine oil cooler (15) and water pump (1), and tighten two clamps (13). 2. Position engine oil cooler tube (5) on two hoses (14) and tighten two clamps (12). 3. Position two hoses (4) on engine oil cooler (15) and water pump (1), and tighten two clamps (2). 5-18
