TM  10-3930-653-14&P SHAFT INSPECTION (1) Check bushing sliding surface on clutch shaft for wear or damage. If unsatisfactory, replace clutch shaft. If excessive deflection is found, replace shaft. Note :   Set a suitable dial gauge at midway of shaft, and read gauge, rotating shaft slowly.
