Install a dial indicator to measure shaft (132) end play. Place a jack under opposite end of shaft (132). Use a block, do not contact the shaft (132). Using a pry bar to exert pressure on end of shaft (132), note reading on dial indicator. Correct shim pack if not within  specifications. Allowable end play is 0.005-0.009 inches. Using a rubber mallet, install deflector (63) and yoke (62) on shaft (132). Rotate  shaft  (132)  to prevent seal damage. Install new preformed packing (61), washer (60), and nut (59). Using a 1-7/16” socket and torque wrench, tighten nut (59) to 50 lb-ft. Go to sheet 26 15-47
