Solenoid. (Sheet 2 of 4)
DISASSEMBLY
1.
Using a flat tip screwdriver, remove
clamp (1) from solenoid (9).
2.
Using retaining ring pliers, remove
retaining ring
(2),
washer (3),
spring (4) and washer (5).
3.
Remove bellows (6), washer (7) and
plunger (8).
CLEANING/INSPECTION
4.
Clean bellows (6) with cloth
moistened with mild detergent
and
water solution.
5.
Wipe solenoid (9) with clean cloth.
