Using a scribe, remove and discard
two preformed packings
(47) and
preformed packing (48).
Using a 1/4” open end wrench, remove
plug (49) and preformed packing (50)
Discard preformed packing (50).
Exercise care when removing plugs.
Plugs are under spring pressure.
Failure to follow this procedure
could result in SEVERE INJURY.
Using a 1-1/4”
open
end
wrench,
remove four plugs (51) and preformed
packings
(52).
Discard four
preformed packings (52).
NOTE
Tag location of pistons in body to
aid in installation.
Remove four springs (53) and pistons
(54) from body (55).
