TOXIC
Fuel is under pressure.
Loosen fuel lines carefully. Fuel spray can
p e n e t r a t e c l o t h i n g a n d s k i n . D i e s e l f u e l i s t o x i c i n t h e b l o od
stream.
Failure to use care could result in SERIOUS INJURY.
If skin
is broken by fuel spray, seek medical attention immediately.
Step 2.
Check For broken or loose fuel lines.
Tighten or replace lines as necessary.
Refer to paragraph 4-14.
If condition continues, notify Direct Support.

ENGINE MISFIRE/RUNS ROUGH (VIBRATION).
Check for injector nozzle failure. Run
causes misfiring.
Loosen fuel injector
for each cylinder, one at a time. This

Listen for the cylinder that
engine sounds.
Be sure to tighten each
