Remove pin (11), latch
( 1 2 ) a n d
spring (13).
Using a 5/16” b o x a n d o p e n e n d
wrench, remove fitting (14).
Using long round nose pliers,
p u ll
cotter pin (22) from latch (18).
Using long round nose pliers and a
1-1/2” box end wrench, remove cotter
pin (15), nut (16), bolt (17) and
latch (18) from pintle (24). Discard
c o t t e r p i n ( 1 5 ).
Using a 5/16” box and open end
wrench, remove fitting (19).
Using a flat tip screwdriver, remove
r i v e t ( 2 0 ) a n d c h a i n ( 2 1 ) f r o m
p i n t l e ( 2 4 ).
U s i n g l o n g r o u n d n o s e p l i e r s,
separate cotter pin (22), link (23)
and chain (21). Discard cotter
pin
( 2 2 ).
