Lubricate new preformed packing (5)
with Ru-glide rubber lubricant and
install preformed packing (5) in
groove in wheel (11). Do not lubri-
cate tire beads or rim components.
I n f l a t e t i r e ( 8 ) t o 7 5 p s i . U s e t i re
inflater and long enough air hose to
permit standing to one side. If
n e c e s s a r y l i f t t i r e ( 8 ) a n d s i d e r i ng
(6) upwards to effect seal between
tire bead, side ring (6) and new
preformed packing (5). Deflate tire
(8) to 50 psi when tire (8) is seated
and holding air.
U s i n g 1 - 1 / 8 s o c k e t a n d t o r q ue
wrench, install wheel assembly
and
tire (3), 16 washers (2) and bolts
( 1 ) .
Tighten bolts (1) to 280-300
l b - f t .
Remove hoist and sling.
Check torques every 10 hours for new
machines or newly installed wheels
u n t i l t o r q u e s t a b i l i z e s . R e f e r t o
paragraph 3-5.
NOTE
Return M10A Forklift to original
equipment condition.
