Use extreme caution if tapping
of lock ring is
r e q u i r e d to
assist seating.
Never mix wheel rim parts of
different sizes or use damaged
parts.
Wheel rim components
must be checked to insure no
damage or cracks are present.
D a m a g e d p a r t s a r e t o be
replaced, not repaired.
Never cut or weld on rim of an
i n f l a t e d t i r e.
NOTE
The following is a maintenance
procedure for one wheel assembly
and tire.
The maintenance
procedure for the remaining wheel
assemblies
and
tires
is
i d e n t i c a l.
Using a heavy duty hydraulic jack
and safety stands, jack up
v e h i c le
and position blocks under wheel
assembly and tire (3).
W e i g h t o f t i r e a n d w h e e l is
approximately 700 lbs. Use an
adequate hoist and
s l i ng
f o r
handling and installation. Keep
area
c l e a r o f
unnecessary
p e r s o n n e l . F a i l u r e t o f o l l o w
this procedure could result in
SEVERE INJURY.
Attach hoist and sling to wheel
assembly and tire (3).
