Parking Brake Control Valve to Treadle Valve and Transmission Hoses,
Lines and Fittings (Sheet 2 of 12)
REMOVAL
NOTE
Tag all hose and tube assemblies
before disconnecting to aid in
i n s t a l l a t i o n.

Disconnect tube (7) with insert (1)

and nut (2).
NOTE
Remove inserts or sleeves and
nuts from tubing only if inspec-
tion proves necessary.
Using side cutting pliers, cut tube
(7) to remove insert (1) and nut
( 2 ) , i f n e c e s s a r y . D i s c a r d i n s e rt
( 1 ).
Using a 9/16” open end wrench,
remove elbow (3).
Using side cutting pliers, cut and
discard three tie straps (4) from
parking brake air cylinder.
Using a 7/16” open end wrench,
loosen nut (6).
Remove tube (7) with insert (5) and
nut (6).
Using side cutting pliers, cut tube
(7) to remove insert (5) and nut
( 6 ) , i f n e c e s s a r y . D i s c a r d i n s e rt
( 5 ) .
Using a 7/16” open end wrench,
remove elbow (8) from parking brake
a i r c y l i n d e r.
Loosen nut (10) from control valve
at transmission.
Disconnect tube (14) with insert (9)
and nut (10).
