NOTE
The following is the maintenance
p r o c e d u r e f o r t h e t r e a d l e,
treadle valve, and check valve
for either the service brake or
the transmission disconnect
and
brake except as noted.

Using long round nose pliers, remove
cotter pin (1), pin (2) and treadle
( 3 ) f r o m l e f t s i d e o f i n t e r i o r c ab
f l o o r .
Discard cotter pin (1).
Remove cotter pin (4), pin (5) and
r o l l e r ( 6 ).
Discard cotter pin (4).
Remove insulator (7) and plunger (8)

NOTE
Tag all hose and tube assem-
b l i e s b e f o r e d i s c o n n e c t i n g to
a i d i n i n s t a l l a t i o n .
Step 4 applies to removal of
service brake treadle valve.
U s i n g 7 / 1 6 a n d 5 / 8 o p e n e nd
wrenches, disconnect tube assemblies
(9, 10, 11, 12, 13 and 14) from left
side of cab, beneath floor.
