Remove   all   gasket   material   from mounting    surfaces. 14. Using   a   1-1/2"   open-end   wrench, disconnect   hose   assembly   (21)   from strainer   assembly   on   left   side   of transmission. 15. Using   a   9/16"   open   end   wrench, remove   four   screws   (22),   washers (23)   and   items   24   thru   28   as   an assembly   from   transmission. 16. Remove   gasket   (24)   and   shroud   (25) f r o m    s t r a i n e r    r e t a i n er ( 2 8 ). Discard   gasket   (24). Remove   all gasket material from   mounting s u r f a c e s. 17. Unscrew   strainer   (26)   and   remove from   strainer   retainer   (28). 18. Remove   and   discard   gasket ( 2 7 ) . Remove all gasket material from mounting    surfaces. G O  to   sheet   5 6-29
