NOTE Make   location   reference   marks   on valve   body   and   converter   housing w i t h    p u n c h    o r    c h i s e l    b e f o re removal. 7. 8. 9. U s i n g    a    3 / 8 "    s o c k e t    a n d    s o c k et wrench   handle,   remove   three   bolts (7),   items   9   thru   16   as   an   assembly and   gasket   (8).   Discard   gasket   (8). Remove   all   gasket   material   from mounting  surfaces. U s i n g    a    1 - 1 / 2 "    o p e n    e n d    w r e n c h, disconnect   hose   assembly   (19)   from torque   converter   high   pressure regulator   valve.   Move   hose   assembly (19)   aside. Remove   union   (20)   and   preformed packing   (21). Discard    preformed packing   (21). Open   access   door   under   right   rear fender. G O  to   sheet   4 6-16
