Remove engine side access cover (1)
from
left
side
of
engine
compartment, refer
to paragraph
12-4.
NOTE
A l l e l e c t r i c a l c o n n e c t i o n s , e x c e pt
those on the instrument panel,
are
sealed
against
moisture
with
s i l i c o n e s e a l a n t.
Remove all
silicone sealant before performing
m a i n t e n a n c e on
e l e c t r i c a l
connections.
All wire must be tagged when removed
from connector.
Indicate whether
w i r e i s c o n n e c t e d t o p i n - t y p e or
socket-type connector.
Using a flat tip screwdriver, remove
screw (2) from oil pressure
switch
( 8 ) .
Disconnect wire assembly (3) at
terminal.
Remove screw (4).
Disconnect wire assembly (5) at
terminal.
Remove screw (6).
Disconnect wire assembly (7) at
terminal.
Using a 1-11/16 open end wrench,
remove switch (8).
