Disconnect   carbon   pile   on   batteries ( 5 2 ). 64. Connect   battery   negative   ground cable   (51),   refer   to   paragraph   5-47. 65. U s i n g    a    c r o s s    t i p    s c r e w d r i v e r, i n s t a l l    t w o    s p a c e r s    ( 1 2 ) ,    s h i e ld (11),   plate   (10),   two   lock   washers (9)   and   screws   (8). 66. U s i n g    a    c r o s s    t i p    s c r e w d r i v e r, install   cover   (4)   and   two   screws ( 3 ) . 67. Install   engine   side   access   cover   (1) on   left   side   of   engine   compartment, refer   to   paragraph   12-4.   Secure latches   at   lower   corners.
