BATTERY LOW IN CHARGE AND NO ALTERNATOR OUTPUT. Step   1. Check   for   dirty   or   loose   battery   connections. Clean   and   tighten   connections   as   necessary. Step   2.   Test   the   battery   charging   rate,   refer   to   test   procedures   in paragraph   5-48. Also   refer   to   TM   9-6140-200-14. If   the   battery   charging   rate   is   not   correct,   replace   battery,   refer to   paragraph   5-48. Step  3. Check   the   alternator.
