C h e c k  a l t e r n a t o r  d r i ve belt    for    frayed    or    damaged condition. R e p o r t  f r a y e d  o r  d a m a g ed c o n d i t i o n  to organizational maintenance. Step     2. Check    to    see    if    alternator cables     are     loose,     broken, or     corroded. R e p o r t      l o o s e, b r o k e n ,  o r corroded    cables    to    organiza- tional     maintenance. N O TE If    voltmeter    indicates    overcharge    (gage    needle    above green area), notify organizational maintenance. 13. HYDRAULIC    EQUIPMENT    DOES    NOT    OPERATE    PROPERLY. Step     1. C h e c k  h y d r a u l i c  f l u id level     in     the     sight     gage. If     low,     fill     to     proper     level. Refer    to    LO    10-3930-643-12. Notify     organizational     mainte- nance. Step     2. C h e c k  f o r  l e a k s  i n hydraulic    lines,    fittings and     at     cylinders.
