Exhaust manifold Remove Pull front of exhaust manifold from front (4) cylinder  head  stud,  swing  manifold  up- ward and pull off of rear cylinder head stud and away from engine as shown b. Gasket (5) Remove  and  dis- card DISASSEMBLY 3 Exhaust mani- a. Four cap screws Remove fold  (4) (6, 8) b. Four washers Remove (7, 9) c. Two nuts ( 10) Remove d. Two outlet cover Remove plates (11) e. Two gaskets (12) Remove Discard CLEANING 4 Exhaust  manifold Clean Use wire brush. Remove all rust, carbon, (4) oxidized  material,  and  gasket  material 2-37
