Use seal compression tool as shown below

Install
While still compressing seals (5) with

compression tool, slide injection pump
onto drive shaft (15) and over seals (5);
then remove compression tool and slide
pump against timing gear housing. After
compression tool is removed, it may be
necessary to rotate pump body slightly
to permit tang of drive shaft (15) to
engage slot in injection pump
NOTE
If rear seal (5) is rolled over on drive shaft (15) during
installation, remove injection pump (3) and replace rear seal (5)
even though no visual damage is apparent.
