Wear protective goggles and gloves and use only in a well  ventilated  area.  Avoid  contact  with  skin,  eyes,  and  clothes and don’t breathe vapors. Do not use near open flame or excessive heat and don’t smoke when using it. Failure to do so could cause serious injury. If you become dizzy while using cleaning  solvent.  get  fresh  air  immediately,  and  get  medical attention. If contact with skin or clothes is made, flush with large amounts of water. If contact with eyes is made, wash eyes with water  immediately.  and  obtain  medical  aid  immediately. 1 Engine a.  Hydraulic  pump  (8) Clean Use  cleaning  solvent  P-D-680 compartment and  hydraulic connections b. Hose clamp (1) Loosen NOTE When disconnecting suction hose in following step, be ready to plug it immediately to prevent loss of oil. c. Suction hose (2) Disconnect  and Prevents intrusion of dirt plug both hose and  pump  inlet d. Supply hose fitting (3) Disconnect  and Prevents intrusion of dirt plug e.  Connector  (4) Remove and plug Prevent intrusion of dirt pump  outlet f. Two cap screws (5) and Remove Support hydraulic pump (8) two lock washers (6) and washers (7) g.  Hydraulic  pump  (8) Remove h., Gasket (9) Remove  and Clean  all  traces  of  gasket  material  from discard transmission mating surface INSTALLATION   REPLACEMENT 2 Engine a.  Gasket  (9) Position on compartment transmission b.  Hydraulic  pump  (8) Position c. Two washers (7), lock Install washers  (6),  and  cap screws (5) d. Connector (4) Install in pump outlet 2-329
