Do not allow radi- ator fins to be damaged by engine fan or other parts during removal. i.  Radiator  (11) Remove Carefully lift from vehicle j. Two mounts(12) Remove  and discard as required DISASSEMBLY 2 Radiator (11) a. Drain hose (13) Remove Pull from valve (15) b.  Overflow  hose Remove Unclip from radiator and pull from fit- (14) ting at filler neck NOTE Disassemble  remaining  parts  only  if  required  for  replacement. c. Drain valve (15) Loosen  and remove d. Two cap screws Loosen  and Support strap (20) (16), washers remove (17 and 18) and nuts (19) e. Two straps (20) Remove CLEANING 3 Hoses (13 and 14) Clean and coolant reservoir  (21) WARNING Dry cleaning solvent (P-D-680), used to clean parts is toxic and flammable. Wear protective goggles and gloves and use only in a well ventilated area. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, and clothes and don’t breathe vapors. Do not use near open flame or exces- sive heat and don’t smoke when using it. Failure to do so could cause serious injury. If you become dizzy while using cleaning solvent, get fresh air immediately, and get medical attention. If contact with skin or clothes is made, flush with large amounts of water. If contact with eyes is made, wash eyes with water immed- iately, and obtain medical aid immediately. Wipe with clean, damp cloth 2-83
