WARNING
Wear protective goggles when performing the following step. Failure
to do so could cause blindness or serious injury due to retaining
ring flying off its groove and striking your eye.

WARNING
Keep clear of carriage assembly and lift cylinder assembly when
p e r f o r m i n g f o l l o w i n g s t e p . D o n ' t place any part of your body be-
t w e e n carriage and mast assemblies or beneath lift cylinder. To do
so could cause serious injury or death due to jack stand falling.
Be sure lift cylinder assembly is securely fastened to chain hoist.
K e e p clear of carriage assembly and lift cylinder assembly. Failure
to do so could cause lift cylinder assembly to fall, striking
personnel and causing serious injury or death.
NOTE
After lift cylinder assembly has cleared bottom portion of inner
mast in following step, hold a clean cloth under lift cylinder as-
sembly to prevent inner tube from extending out of lift cylinder
assembly.
