Slide cylinder head over the cylinder block
and studs, and lower onto aligning
dowels until resting on cylinder block
c. Two nuts (1), 17 bolts
Lubricate
Lightly coat with oil
(2) and two studs (6)
d. Two studs (6)
Install and
Until securely mounted to nuts (1)
tighten
e. Two washers (3) and
Install
On cylinder block studs
nuts (1 )
f. 17 washers (3) and
Install
bolts (2)
NOTE
In the following steps. use extension wrench to torque nuts (1)
located at positions 4 and 5.
g. Two nuts (1) and 17
Tighten to 55 pounds foot torque in
Tighten
bolts (2)
