NOTE

Do not remove main relief valves

unless they are being replaced.

Top and bottom main relief valves

are removed and disassembled

the same way bottom main relief

valve is shown.

Remove two main relief valves (1)

and disassemble parts (2 through 19)

from main control valve.

(a)

Remove nuts (2 and 3) and

preformed packings (4) from adjusting screw (5). Discard preformed packings.

NOTE

Count and record number of turns required to remove adjusting screw to aid in assembly.

(b)

Remove adjusting screw (5), spring (6), and poppet (7) from plug (8).
