lockwashers (6), and transmission oil pump

(2) from front cover (3). Discard

lockwashers.

Remove and discard gasket (7) and

preformed packing (8).

Disassemble hydraulic gear pump drive

parts (9 through 13).

(a)

Scribe adapter (9) and transmission oil

pump (2) for ease of assembly.

(b)

Remove four screws (10), lockwashers

(11), and adapter (9) from transmission

oil pump (2). Discard lockwashers.

(c)

Remove preformed packings (12 and 13)

from adapter (9). Discard preformed

packings.
