Push in engine timing pin (14) to verify top dead center for number 1 cylinder. If necessary, rotate engine

counterclockwise at universal joint of transmission input shaft while assistant pushes on engine timing pin.

NOTE

Verify TDC by examining marks on flywheel housing and flywheel housing coupling. If necessary,

align marks by turning engine.

Install fuel shutoff solenoid (Para 4-5).
