a. Removal.

(1)
Place a 1/2 in. (12.7 mm) socket
driver in hole (A) and pull up to
release tension on drive belt (1).
(2)
Remove drive belt (1).
(3)
Remove four screws (2), washers (3),
cooling fan (4), fan pulley (5), and
spacer (6).
(4)
Remove four screws (7) and
vibration damper (8).
(5)
Remove tachometer drive
(TM 10-3930-673-20).
