ENGINE OIL PRESSURE SWITCH TEST
Refer to Paragraph 8-14.
WIRE 16
LOW OIL
CONTINUITY CHECK
PRESSURE
WIRE 10
(1) Remove four screws and panel.
INDICATOR
(2) Connect multimeter positive lead (+) to
LIGHT SOCKET
wire 16 at low oil pressure indicator
terminal.
LOW OIL
(3) Connect multimeter negative lead () to
PRESSURE
wire 16 at engine oil pressure switch
INDICATOR
terminal with known good jumper wire.
SCREW
(a) If continuity is not present, replace
wire 16 (Para 8-48).
PANEL
(b) If continuity is present, go to Step 6
of this fault.
