BLACKOUT
LIGHT SWITCH
VOLTAGE TEST
(1) Remove gage light from instrument
panel.
(2) Set multimeter to volts dc.
(3) Connect multimeter positive lead (+) to
female connector where wire 13
connects.
(4) Connect multimeter negative lead () to
known good ground.
(5) Connect negative battery cable to
negative side of battery (Para 8-44).
(6) Turn engine start switch to ON position,
BUT DO NOT START ENGINE
(TM 10-3930-673-10).
(7) Turn blackout light switch to SER.
DRIVE position (TM 10-3930-673-10).
(a) If 24 vdc is present, go to Step 13
ENGINE
of this fault.
START
(b) If 24 vdc is not present, go to
SWITCH
Step 12 of this fault.
(8) Turn blackout light switch to OFF
INSTRUMENT
position (TM 10-3930-673-10).
PANEL
(9) Turn engine start switch to OFF
position, (TM 10-3930-673-10).
(10) Disconnect negative battery cable from
FEMALE
negative side of battery (Para 8-44).
CONNECTOR
(11) Connect female to male connector for
WIRE 13
wire 13.
