PERFORM WEEKLY (W) AS WELL AS
BEFORE (B) OPERATOR'S PMCS IF:
1. You are the assigned operator and have not
operated vehicle since the last weekly
checks.
2. You are operating vehicle for the first time.
WARNING
Personnel hearing can be
PERMANENTLY DAMAGED if
exposed to constant high noise levels of
85 dB (A) or greater. Wear approved
hearing protection devices when
operating or working within 61 ft (19 m)
of vehicle when engine is running.
Personnel exposed to high noise levels
shall participate in a hearing
conservation program in accordance
with TB MED 501. Hearing loss occurs
gradually but becomes permanent over
time.
WARNING
Unless otherwise specified, perform all
maintenance procedures with all
equipment lowered to the ground,
transmission in neutral, parking brake
applied and engine shut off. Failure to
follow these precautions could result in
injury or death to personnel.
