TM 10-3930-671-24 13. Disconnect  the  transmission  cooling  lines  from the radiator.  Note or mark which is the upper or lower line and where it connects to  the  radiator. Put plugs in the radiator and caps on the ends of the   lines   to   prevent   drainage   and   entrance   of dirt. 14. Drain the cooling system.  Drain cooling system by  removing  lower  hose  from  the  radiator  and coolant drain plug from engine block. 15. Loosen the hose clamps from the inlet and outlet water   hoses   and   remove   the   hoses   from   the radiator and engine. 16. Disconnect  coolant  overflow  line  from  radiator. Reference Section 4.8, Cooling System. NOTE Oil cooler is replaced with radiator. 17. Remove   the   radiator.      Lift   the   radiator   out   of truck and store in a safe location. 18. Remove the radiator fan shroud. 19. Disconnect  or  remove  wiring  connections  from alternator,    starter,    starter    relay,    coil,    engine sending  units,  etc.    Disconnect  or  remove  and move    wiring    harness(es),    as    determined    by inspection   as   necessary.      Reference   Section 4.10, Engine Adjustments.
