TM 10-3930-671-24 Air Cleaner Removal 1. Remove the filter cover and filter assembly. 2. Remove  the  2  bolts  that  mount  the  air  cleaner housing to the frame. 3. Loosen the clamp on the air cleaner hose at the air horn. 4. Remove  the  air  cleaner  housing  and  hose  from the truck. Air Cleaner Installation Installation  is  in  reverse  order  of  removal  Mounting  bolt tightening torque specification: 53 - 58 lb ft (72 - 82 N•m). Canister Dry Air Filter Service 1. Remove  the  air  cleaner  and  clean  the  dust  out with compressed air. 2. Check it for holes by shining a light through it. 3. If it is still serviceable, finish cleaning according to  instructions  on  the  filter.    If  not  serviceable, replace with a new one. F-106
