(11) Remove  four  nuts  (31),  lock  washers  (32),  and spacer   plate   (23)   from   front   pump   body   (33). Discard lock washers. (12) Remove splined coupling (34) from front driveshaft (35). (13) Remove flange (36) from front pump body (33). WARNING Use  extreme  care  when  removing  or installing springs and retaining rings. Springs and retaining rings are under tension   and   can   act   as   projectiles when    released    suddenly.        Ensure proper    eye    protection    is    worn    to prevent injury to personnel. (14) Remove four studs (37), retaining ring (38), and shaft  seal  (39)  from  flange  (36).    Discard  shaft seal. (15) Remove two preformed packings (40) from front pump body (33).  Discard preformed packings. (16) Remove   two   backup   seals   (41)   and   bushing seals   (42)   from   four   bushings   (43   and   44). Discard backup and bushing seals. 15-6
