TM 10-3930-669-34 (3) Remove piston and connecting rod assembly (3) from crankcase (5). (4) Remove  bearing  half  (6)  from  piston  and connecting rod assembly (3). b. Disassembly. WARNING Use  care  when  removing  snap ring  and  retaining  rings.    Snap ring    and    retaining    rings    are under   spring   tension   and   can act as projectiles when released and    could    cause    severe    eye injury. (1) Remove   two   retaining   rings   (7),   pin   (8), and connecting rod (9) from piston (10). 3-67
