TM 10-3930-669-34 VISUAL INSPECTION (1) Remove differential housing cover (Para 10-4). (2) Inspect   ring   gear   for   cracks,   chips,   and   uneven wear. (a) If  ring  gear  is  damaged,  replace  drive  axle (Para 10-2). (b) If  ring  gear  is  not  damaged,  ring  gear  and pinion assembly is OK. (3) Install differential housing cover. 2-77
