Removal. WARNING BURN HAZARD Allow  engine  to  cool  before  performing  maintenance  on  the  muffler,  exhaust  pipe,  exhaust manifold, or turbocharger.  If necessary, use insulated pads and gloves. (1) Remove  nut  (1),  lock  washer  (2),  washer  (3),  and  wire  (4)  from  oil  temperature  sensor  (5).    Discard lock washer. (2) Using a wiping rag, clean area around engine oil temperature sensor (5) and heater valve (6). NOTE Cap and plug engine oil temperature sensor and heater valve when removed. (3) Remove engine oil temperature sensor (5) from heater valve (6). 7-92
