a. Removal
WARNING
·
High-pressure hydraulics operate this equipment. Never disconnect any hydraulic line or
fitting without first dropping pressure to zero. A high-pressure oil stream can pierce body
and cause severe injury to personnel.

Oil is slippery and can cause falls. To avoid injury, wipe up spilled oil with wiping rags.
NOTE
·
With main power switch in the OFF position, operate the two hydraulic levers (TM 10-3930-
669-10) several strokes to ensure release of any trapped hydraulic oil under pressure.
·
Cap and plug all hoses and fittings after removal.

Loosen clamp (1) on extension tube (2).
(2)
Loosen fitting (3) and remove extension tube (2) from fitting (4).
