C) A.  REMOVAL 1. Open  hood  assembly  (2)  by  lifting  handle  (1). Open hood assembly. 2. Remove  top  transmission  cover  (3)  from  cover frame and transmission side plates by removing nine screws (4) and washers (5). 3. Remove    left    transmission    side    plate    (6)    by removing   screw   (7),   washer   (8),   screws   (9), washers (10), and nuts (11). 2-350
