DISASSEMBLY
1.
Remove and discard front wear seal (19) and rear wear

seal (20) from crankshaft (14).

Using a suitable gear puller to remove crankshaft gear
(21) and roll pin (22), if necessary, from crankshaft
14

(14). Discard roller pin.

CLEANING
1.
CAUTION
If crankshaft is not to be reinstalled within one hour after it is cleaned, apply clean lubricating oil on the
bearing journals. Failure to comply with this recommendation will result in bearing journal corrosion.
2.
Apply clean lubricating oil to all crankshaft bearing journals if required.
