Install new starwasher (6), ground cable (9), two elec-

trical wires (7 and 8) and new starwasher (6) on start-
ing motor (3) and bell housing (4) with screw (5).

Torque screw to 32 lb-ft (43 Nm).

Install auxiliary ground cable (2) on starting motor (3)
and bell housing (4) with screw (1).
8.
Torque screws (28), (5) and (1) to 32 lb-ft (43 Nm).
9.
Install exhaust pipe (WP 0052 00).
10.
Connect battery cables (WP 0107 00).

11.
Start and shut off engine to check for proper operation
(TM 10-3930-660-10).
