PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE CHECKS AND SERVICES (PMCS) INTRODUCTION
GENERAL
1.
To ensure that the forklift is ready for operation at all times, it must be lubricated and inspected on a regular basis so that
defects may be found before they result in serious damage, equipment failure or injury to personnel.
The KEY in this work package lists the types, amounts and temperature ranges of the lubricants required for specified
2.
intervals.
3.
The Lubrication Charts at the end of this work package shows all lubrication points for the forklift.
Table 1 in WP 0011 00 contains systematic instructions on lubrications, inspections, adjustments and corrections to be
4.
performed by Unit Maintenance to keep the forklift in good operating condition and ready for its primary mission.
5.
For information on Corrosion Prevention and Control (CPC), refer to TB 43-0213.
