The 6K Forklift can also be used for many standard rough terrain forklift tasks. When used as a standard forklift, the MLRS

lifting tool is removed from the vehicle forks and placed in its storage position. A load backrest is then installed. In this config-

uration, the 6K Forklift can load and unload single and double stacked pallets from 20 ft (6.1 m) long ISO shipping containers.

The containers can be on the ground or on trailers.
