IN THIS PARAGRAPH.
TEST THE SENDER (4).

Connect one ohmmeter lead to the
sender terminal (a) and the
other lead to the metal flange of
the sender (b).
Move the float (c) up and down
while observing the ohmmeter.
Resistance should change from
approximately 30 to 240 ohms.
Replace sender (4) if the
resistance is not within
specifications.
