This Task Covers: a.  Disassembly c.  Assembly b.  Cleaning and Inspection Initial Setup: Equipment Conditions: Materials/Parts: •    Crossover relief valve removed (see TM 10-3930- •    Dry cleaning solvent (Item 47, Appendix B) 659-20). •    Four preformed packings Tools/Test Equipment: References: •    General mechanic's tool kit (Item 71, Appendix E) •    TM 10-3930-659-20 •    Vise jaw caps (Item 12, Appendix E) •    Machinist's vise (Item 76, Appendix E) General Safety Instructions: •    Dry cleaning solvent is flammable and must not be used near open flame.  Use only in a well-ventilated area. a.  DISASSEMBLY 1.    Secure   crossover   relief   valve   housing   (1)   in machinist's vise with vise jaw caps. 2.    Remove two relief valve cartridges (5), preformed  packings  (4),  backing  rings  (3),  and preformed   packings   (2)   from   crossover   relief valve housing (1).  Discard preformed packings. 3.    Remove crossover relief valve housing (1) from machinist's vise. 4-220
