Remove screw (11) and washer (10) from cylinder block front plate (1) and lower idler gearshaft (4). 8. Alternately pry and tap lower idler gearshaft (4) from side-to-side until it can be removed from cylinder block front plate (1). 9. Remove thrustwasher (3) from lower idler gearshaft (4).
