TM 10-3930-653-14&P 5. Remove the drive  and   driven gears. 6. Remove  tie  bushing  and  O-ring remaining in  the pump body. 7. Do not remove the oil seal from the pump body  if  it is not damaged.  When removing, use the procedure as follows: a. Put a clean cloth inside the pump body. b.      Drive the oil seal  out  of the pump  from inside to outside. Use caution as not to damage the oil seal    fitting    surface    on    the    pump body. INSPECTION Before    proceeding        to    inspection, thoroughly   clean   and   dry   all   parts. Replace      all   O-rings   and   seal   rings with new ones. WARNING Dry cleaning solvent P-D 680 is  toxic and flammable. Wear protective goggles and gloves and use only  in a well   ventilated   area.   Avoid   contact with skin, eyes. and clothes and don’t breathe vapors. Do not use near open flame    or    excessive    heat        If    you become    dizzy    while    cleaning    with solvent, get fresh air immediately and get  medical  aid.  If  contact  with  skin or clothing is made, flush with water. If   contact   with   eyes   is   made,   wash your eyes with water and get medical aid immediately. WARNING Compressed    air    used    for    cleaning purposes will not exceed 30 PSI. Use only with effective chip guarding and personal protective equipment (goggles/shield, gloves, etc.). 1. Check   the   pump   body   inner   surface   for   wear   or damage. If worn more than 0.05mm (0.00197 Inch), the pump  will  have  low  efficiency.  Replace as an assembly. 4-202
