Check for proper fuel  injection  pump  timing,  refer  to paragraph 4-14. If timing is correct, proceed to step 11. Step 11. Check for proper valve lash adjustment, refer to paragraph 4-6. If valve lash adjustment is correct, proceed to step 12. Step 12. Test for proper crankcase pressure, refer to paragraph 4-1.k. If crankcase pressure is in excess, contact General Support. If crankcase pressure meets specifications, proceed to step 13. 4-7
