SCOPE.
This appendix lists expendable supplies and materials you will
need to maintain the M10A Forklift.
These items are authorized to you by CTA
50-970, Expendable Items (except Medical, Class v, Repair Parts, and Heraldic
Items).

EXPLANATION OF COLUMNS.
a.
Column 1 - Item Number.
This number is assigned to the entry in the
l i s t i n g a n d i s r e f e r e n c e d i n t h e n a r r a t i v e i n s t r u c t i o n s t o i d e n t i f y t he
m a t e r i a l ( e . g ., “Use anti-seize graphite, App C, Item 14”).
b.
Column 2 - Level.
This column identifies the lowest level of mainte-
nance that requires the listed item:
C - Operator/Crew
O - Organizational Maintenance
F - Direct Support Maintenance
H - General Support Maintenance
c .
Column 3 - National Stock Number.
This is the National Stock Number
assigned to the item; use it to request or requisition the item.
d.
Column 4 - Description.
I n d i c a t e s t h e F e d e r a l i t e m n a m e a n d , if
required, a description to identify the item.
T h e l a s t l i n e f o r e a c h i t em
indicates the part number followed by the Federal Supply Code for Manufacturer
(FSCM) in parenthesis, if applicable.

Column 5 - Unit of Measure (U/M).
Indicates
the measure
u s e d i n
performing the actual maintenance function. This measure is expressed by a
two-character alphabetical function.
This q easure is expressed by a two-
character alphabetical abbreviation (e.g., ea. in, pr).
If the unit of measure
differs from the unit of issue, requisition the lowest unit of issue that will
satisfy your requirements.
