Check the following accessory mounting bolts on engine:
Air cleaner.

Air compressor.

Alternator.

Engine side access covers.

Fan guard. Refer to paragraph 4-28.
Muffler clamps.

not loose, go to Fuel System Troubleshooting.
Check quality of fuel.
If fuel is contaminated, drain fuel tank, change fuel filters and
r e f i l l .
Then vent and prime system.
Refer to paragraph 4-23.
I f f u e l i s c l e a n, go to Fuel System Troubleshooting.
e. NOISE - MECHANICAL.
Inspect engine compartment for any loose components.
If any components are loose, tighten them.
If noise continues, notify Direct Support.
