Use   an adequate   hoist   and s l i n g f or handling    and    installation. Keep area c l e a r    o f unnecessary p e r s o n n e l .     F a i l u r e     t o     f o l l ow this   procedure   could   result   in SEVERE  INJURY. 1. Attach   sling fender   (12). 2. Using   a   3/4” handle  and  a and   hoist   to   left   front socket,   socket wrench 3/4”   box   and   open   end wrench,  remove  locknut  (1), washer ( 2 ) ,    b o l t    ( 3 ), washer   (4)   from   rail on   left   side o f    M 1 0 A    F o r k l i f t. Discard   locknut   (1). 3. Remove   locknut   (5),   washer   (6),   bolt ( 7 ) ,    w a s h e r    ( 8 )    a n d    r a i l    ( 9 ) . Discard   locknut   (5). 4. Remcve  two  bolts  (10)  and  washers (11)   from   left   front   fender   (12). 5. Using   hoist   and   sling,   remove   left front   fender   (12)   and   place   securely on  wood  blocks  on  floor. Remove hoist   and   sling. Go  to  sheet  3 12-28
